Oran 1 University Attains ISO 9001 Quality Standard

The University of Oran 1 has successfully obtained ISO 9001 certification, a significant milestone achieved after undergoing and passing an external audit. This accomplishment was recognized by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Badari, who extended his congratulations to the institution.

Minister Badari regarded this achievement as a confirmation of University of Oran 1's active commitment to quality, governance, and institutional excellence. He further noted that the certification reflects a growing momentum towards establishing a culture of quality, which he believes will serve as a driving force for improving performance and elevating the standard of university services.

With this certification, the University of Oran 1 becomes the tenth higher education institution in Algeria to secure ISO 9001 accreditation. This highlights a broader trend within the Algerian academic sector to enhance operational standards and align with international quality benchmarks.
