Algérienne des Eaux Offers Flexible Water Bill Payments

Algérienne des Eaux (ADE) has announced new measures to assist subscribers experiencing difficulties with unpaid water bills, urging them to regularize their accounts. The utility is offering various payment solutions, including installment plans, accessible through its commercial agencies. This initiative aims to help citizens manage their outstanding debts and prevent service interruptions.

The company emphasized that timely bill payments are essential for maintaining the extensive national water distribution network, which spans nearly 100,000 kilometers across Algeria. Unpaid debts directly impact ADE's financial capacity to conduct crucial operations such as network maintenance, leak repairs, and equipment renewal. These activities are vital for ensuring the consistent delivery and improvement of public water services, which involve the daily production and distribution of approximately 7 million cubic meters of water to 6.9 million subscribers, supported by over 35,600 workers.

Subscribers with accumulated debts are encouraged to visit ADE's commercial agencies to review their specific situations and explore available payment facilities. Beyond facilitating regularization, this approach is crucial for preserving a vital public service depended upon by millions of citizens daily. In addition to in-person agency visits, ADE also provides several electronic payment methods, including the BaridiMob application, to further simplify the process for its customers.
