Attaf Meets Lavrov on the Sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum Summit

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs Ahmed Attaf met today in Moscow with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on the sidelines of their participation in the 8th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two sides discussed the state of bilateral relations between Algeria and Russia and ways to advance them in all fields, in preparation for upcoming bilateral engagements.
The two ministers also exchanged views on the current state of international relations and on international and regional issues of mutual interest. They renewed their commitment to strengthening the partnership between the two countries and to continuing dialogue and coordination in various international forums.
