State Minister for Interior and Local Communities, Brahim Merad, affirmed that the President of the Republic prioritizes local development across the nation as a fundamental pillar for comprehensive national development and improving citizens' living conditions.

A significant portion of these projects, with more than 380 operations, were implemented under programs supporting the social and economic development of municipalities and the local communities solidarity and guarantee fund. The wide-ranging initiatives included the development of road networks, the preparation of industrial zones in Ras El Oued and El Hamadia, and the reinforcement of health, educational, and sports infrastructure. Further efforts focused on the construction and equipping of essential facilities, such as new health centers, educational institutions, school canteens, sports venues, and youth facilities.
