ANP Showcases Research at Algiers Book Fair’s Palestine Wing

The 29th Algiers International Book Fair, held from October 28 to November 7, 2026, at the Exhibition Palace in Pine Maritime, Algiers, marks a significant cultural event. The Algerian National Popular Army (ANP) is participating with six distinct units as exhibitors. These units include the Military Institute for Documentation, Evaluation and Foresight, the National Institute of Cartography and Remote Sensing, the Higher Military School of Information and Communication, the National Center for Military Publications, the Central Museum of the Army, and the National Center for Studies and Research in Algerian Military History.

The ANP's presence provides an opportunity for the public to engage with its academic and research endeavors. Visitors are invited to the ANP's dedicated space, located within the Palestine Wing, to explore various publications and learn about the scientific contributions of the Ministry of National Defense. This participation underscores the ANP's integral role in public life and its commitment to fostering national intellectual and cultural development, alongside a demonstration of solidarity.

The international dimensions of the fair are also prominent, with Saudi Arabia attending as the guest of honor, having actively participated in the opening of the cultural program. The Sultanate of Oman is also a key participant, represented by its Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth. Oman’s involvement, under the theme “Tomorrow between the covers of a book,” aims to promote its vibrant cultural scene, exchange expertise with global institutions, highlight Omani intellectual heritage, and expand the reach of its diverse publications.
