Digitalization Caravan to Train 1,200 Algerian Youth Across Four Wilayas
The event organization agency "We Make Events" has announced the launch of the second edition of the National Digitalization Caravan, set to commence on October 2. This initiative will tour four wilayas, providing free training to 1,200 young Algerians in digital fields. The program aims to stimulate innovation, encourage the establishment of startups, and implement projects, aligning with a comprehensive strategic vision to accelerate the pace of digital transformation across the country.
Fouad Ben Djelil, the caravan organizer, revealed at a press conference held at the "Algeria Funture" business incubator in Ouled Fayet, Algiers, that the Digitalization Caravan will begin its journey in Mascara on October 2-3. It will then proceed to Tipaza on October 9-10, Bordj Bou Arréridj on October 16-17, and finally Ghardaïa on October 23-24. Each wilaya will see 300 young participants trained in areas such as digital marketing, social media networks, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and startup launching. The free training is based on an intensive educational and interactive program led by experts in technology and innovation, covering fundamentals of AI algorithms, their application in economic and service problem-solving, digital transformation for businesses, data management, and cloud solutions.
Khaled Djebloune, the agency director, further explained that the caravan's objectives extend beyond academic and training aspects, serving as a field incubator for innovative ideas. Participants will receive specialized guidance on converting digital concepts into tangible projects, understanding the mechanisms for establishing and funding startups, and learning about available government support for innovators. These efforts directly respond to Algeria's accelerating national dynamism in innovation and startup development, contributing significantly to job creation and fostering an encouraging environment for local technological investment.
