Elias Zidane Open to Algerian National Team Representation

Elias Zidane, son of French football legend Zinédine Zidane, has discussed his international future, expressing openness to representing either the Algerian or French national teams. This development comes amid growing interest in the young defender's career, notably due to his Algerian heritage and his family's prominent history in global football.

The 20-year-old defender stated he was raised in a unique sporting environment, having attended major finals with his father from a young age, which provided him with exceptional experiences. Zidane emphasized his commitment to concentrating on his football career away from external pressures, with his immediate goal being to dedicate maximum effort to his club, Red Star, for personal development and to aid his team in securing victories.

Elias Zidane has previously played for various French youth national teams. However, he has not yet participated with the senior French team, leaving his international eligibility open from a sporting perspective. This situation presents a significant opportunity for the Algerian national team, given Zidane's heritage and his potential contributions on the field.
