Minister Merad Oversees ENA Graduation, Emphasizes Public Service Development

Minister of State and Minister of Interior and Local Communities, Brahim Merad, affirmed the sector's dedication to continuously developing the National School of Administration (ENA) "Moulay Ahmed Medgheri." This commitment aims to ensure ENA's responsiveness to current transformations and to strengthen its role in providing high-quality training for administrative cadres. The objective is to prepare competent individuals capable of assuming responsibility and contributing effectively to the improvement of public administration performance.
These remarks were made by Minister Merad during his oversight of the 54th ENA graduating class ceremony in Algiers. This particular class was named in honor of the late President and Mujahid, Liamine Zeroual, a tribute coinciding with the commemoration of the National Day of Immigration. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's commitment to modernizing administration and making it more accessible to citizens, by centering their concerns in its operations, was also highlighted. This directive seeks to enhance the effectiveness of public services and ensure institutional responsiveness to citizens' aspirations.
Abdelmalek Mezhoudah, Director General of the National School of Administration, underscored the institution's vital role in preparing qualified cadres who contribute to elevating the quality of public service. He noted that the training program is carefully aligned with the major directions of "New Algeria," focusing on key areas such as digital transformation, fostering transparency, and preventing corruption. Graduates were encouraged to embody responsibility, seriousness, discipline, and teamwork, recognizing these as fundamental qualities for efficient administrative task execution and meeting the demands of public service.
The ceremony itself included honoring the family of the late Liamine Zeroual and recognizing outstanding students. A representative of the graduating class, Djamel Eddine El Ouahdi, conveyed the graduates' pride in President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is noted as an alumnus from ENA's first generation.
