Dzair Digital Services Enhances Access to Online Documents

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune officially launched the Dzair Digital Services national platform on July 5, 2026, consolidating digital services from numerous ministries and public institutions. Developed under the supervision of the High Commission for Digitization, led by Minister Meriem Benmouloud, this initiative aims to enhance public access to administrative processes. The platform quickly achieved significant reach, surpassing one million registered users within two and a half months and recording over five million visitors since its inception.

The Dzair Digital Services portal, accessible at dzds.dz, provides a wide array of documents and services categorized by ministry. Citizens can obtain civil status documents like birth, marriage, and death certificates from the Ministry of Interior, alongside nationality certificates and criminal records from the Ministry of Justice. The platform also includes services related to the Labor and Social Security sector, offering attestations of affiliation, income, and unemployment benefits. Furthermore, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Taxes, fiscal documents such as extracts of role and fiscal registration attestations were added on September 9, 2026.

The catalogue of available services has been regularly expanded following the Council of Ministers meeting on July 12, 2026, now encompassing online payment for Sonelgaz bills and requests for potable water connections. It also supports requests for special needs cards, recognition of foreign diplomas, and Hajj-related services. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched an electronic apostille platform on July 9, 2026, hosted on Dzair Digital Services, streamlining the certification of public documents for international use. Access to the platform requires a simple account creation validated via SMS, with basic services being free of charge, and a mobile application is available for convenience.
