Paris-Orly–Algiers Route to Receive Transavia’s Enhanced A320neo Service

Transavia is set to introduce its new generation Airbus A320neo aircraft on the popular Paris-Orly – Algiers route, with deployment beginning October 25, 2026. This move is part of the airline's progressive modernization and renewal of its fleet, aiming to gradually replace its current Boeing 737-800 aircraft with more advanced models across its network.

Algerian travelers on the Paris-Orly – Algiers link will experience notable enhancements with the Airbus A320neo. The new aircraft promises a more modern and comfortable cabin environment, featuring wider seats for improved passenger comfort. Additionally, the updated cabin includes practical amenities such as USB ports to assist with device charging, larger tray tables, and more spacious baggage compartments capable of storing up to eight carry-on bags vertically, an increase from the five bags accommodated in standard overhead bins.

The Airbus A320neo represents a significant upgrade, belonging to a more recent generation of aircraft compared to the Boeing 737-800. Its design incorporates a wider cabin, measuring approximately 3.70 meters, which contributes to greater seat space and a more spacious central aisle, further enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers flying between Paris-Orly and Algiers.
