Mr. Azouz Nasri, President of Algeria's Council of the Nation, chaired a significant coordination meeting on Tuesday for the Algerian parliamentary delegation. The gathering was held in preparation for the delegation's participation in the upcoming plenary session of the third session of the fourth legislature of the Arab Parliament. This initiative underscores Algeria's commitment to active engagement within regional parliamentary bodies.

The Algerian delegation is poised to attend a series of important meetings in Cairo, commencing this Saturday. These include the main plenary session, as well as crucial meetings of the Palestine Committee and other specialized committees. Additionally, the delegation will participate in a procedural session scheduled between October 24 and 26, dedicated to the election of the Arab Parliament's President, its deputies, and the chairs and vice-chairs of its permanent committees.

During the coordination meeting, President Nasri emphasized the pivotal role of joint Arab parliamentary efforts in addressing the various challenges confronting the Arab world. He highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in advocating for just Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian issue. Furthermore, Mr. Nasri reiterated Algeria's steadfast positions, guided by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on core Arab concerns and its continuous advocacy for Arab economic integration.

President Nasri specifically urged members of the delegation to reinforce a unified Arab stance within this vital parliamentary forum.
