President Tebboune Directs Immediate Laghouat-Tamanrasset Rail Launch

President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune issued a directive for the immediate launch of the extensive Laghouat-El Menia-In Salah-Tamanrasset railway project. The order was given during a Council of Ministers meeting held on Sunday, with a specific instruction for the project to commence its operations from Tamanrasset.

This significant infrastructure initiative is set to connect key regions within Algeria, reinforcing the national transport network. The railway line, spanning from Laghouat to Tamanrasset, represents a substantial undertaking designed to enhance connectivity across the country, particularly linking the northern and southern areas.
