Public Transport Enhanced in Saïda with 17 New Mercedes Buses

Saïda wilaya has received 17 new Mercedes buses for private transporters, marking a step in the national transport fleet renewal program. This operation aligns with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's directives to renew 10,000 buses nationwide and was conducted under the direct supervision of Saïd Sayoud, the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport.
The delivery is part of state-approved facilities designed to enable transporters to replace buses exceeding 30 years in age. To date, 17 buses have been received by transporters in Saïda, out of 25 replacement files submitted. These new buses incorporate modern equipment and technologies, adhering to contemporary safety and comfort standards to ensure a better travel experience for citizens.
This initiative is part of a broader national program aimed at renewing the public transport fleet across several wilayas. The overarching goal is to improve the quality of service, modernize transport methods, and enhance the overall level of safety and comfort for passengers throughout Algeria.
