This operation, confirmed by a communiqué from the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, marks a significant step for the company's international reach. The shipment adhered to all technical and regulatory conditions set by the ministry.
The export initiative underscores the ongoing development within Algeria's pharmaceutical industry. It is part of a broader effort to enhance local production capabilities and improve the quality of Algerian pharmaceutical products. This strategy aims to bolster the industry's competitiveness in external markets, aligning with Algeria's goals for economic diversification.
Officials noted that this export drive is designed to reconcile the continuous supply of the national market with various types of medicines with the promotion of Algerian pharmaceutical exports. A second cargo of medicines is anticipated to be dispatched to Côte d'Ivoire in the coming weeks, further demonstrating the industry's expanding presence in African markets.
