18 New Buses Modernize Bordj Bou Arréridj Public Transport

The wilaya of Bordj Bou Arréridj has significantly enhanced its public transport infrastructure with the addition of 18 new buses. This development is part of a presidential decision initiated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at renewing the national transport fleet and improving overall public services. The direct supervision and follow-up for this initiative are provided by Said Sayoud, the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport.

The newly acquired fleet comprises 17 small Mercedes buses, each with a capacity of 24 seats, alongside one large Higer urban bus capable of accommodating 100 passengers. These vehicles are equipped with modern technologies and features designed to meet contemporary standards of safety and comfort. They are scheduled to enter service immediately, contributing to the public transport network.

The integration of these buses into the network is intended to facilitate citizen movement, address the increasing demand for public transport services, and elevate the standard of public service delivery. This effort aligns with the national strategy to modernize transport infrastructure and ensure enhanced mobility for the residents of Bordj Bou Arréridj.
