Krikou, Congo Council President Discuss Environmental Cooperation

Algerian Minister of Environment and Quality of Life, Kaouthar Krikou, convened a meeting on Tuesday in Algiers with Emilien Raoul, President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council of the Republic of the Congo. The discussion centered on exploring avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in environmental matters.

The meeting highlighted Algeria's commitment to fostering international partnerships, particularly within the African continent, to address shared environmental challenges. These discussions aim to lay the groundwork for strengthened collaboration and mutual benefit in environmental protection and quality of life initiatives between the two nations.

According to a statement from the ministry, the talks focused on prospects for deepening ties and exchanging expertise in the environmental sector, underscoring a constructive engagement between Algeria and the Republic of the Congo.
