El Oued Hosts 84 Nigerien Professionals for Agricultural Training

Eighty-four professionals from Niger have arrived in Algeria's El Oued wilaya to participate in an intensive vocational training program focused on agriculture and aquaculture. This initiative, part of a broader national cooperation program, demonstrates Algeria's commitment to regional skill development. The group includes 50 women among the trainees who will undergo a 45-day apprenticeship cycle.
The training, provided by the National Specialized Institute for Vocational Training in Hassani Abdelkrim commune, covers three key specialties: animal production, plant production, and aquaculture. This institute is recognized as a national center of excellence for agriculture. The curriculum is structured to include both theoretical instruction in classrooms and practical application at a pedagogical farm, guided by specialized instructors from the institute.
The welcoming of these Nigerien trainees is a component of a larger national program designed to facilitate the training of 500 Nigerien professionals across various wilayas in Algeria. This comprehensive effort is being implemented in accordance with directives from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and is overseen by the Ministry of Vocational Training and Education, alongside the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security. All necessary provisions have been made to ensure the success of this Nigerien cohort.
