Hydrocarbon Revenues Hit $37.5 Billion by September

Algeria recorded hydrocarbon export revenues of $37.5 billion during the first nine months of 2026. This significant financial inflow was reported by the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, during his presentation to the Finance and Budget Committee of the Algerian People's National Assembly. The revenues were notably supported by an average Algerian crude oil price of approximately $97 per barrel throughout the period from January to the end of September 2026.

The average price for Algerian crude oil marked a notable increase, reaching around $97 per barrel in the first nine months of the year. Concurrently, the average price for Algerian gas marketed during the same period was approximately $11.3 per million British thermal units. These figures were presented as part of the detailed study and discussion of the 2027 finance bill.

Further reflecting the sector's robust performance, petroleum tax revenues reached 2841 billion dinars. This figure represents approximately 105% of the 2698 billion dinars estimated in the 2026 finance law. These indicators collectively demonstrate the substantial revenues achieved from Algeria's hydrocarbon exports amidst evolving international oil and gas market prices.
