New Platform Modernizes Algerian Public Service Investment Oversight

The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Issues, led by Minister Souria Mouloudji, has inaugurated a new digital platform designed to oversee investment operations within the sector across Algeria. This initiative aligns with broader efforts to implement the national digital transformation strategy action plan, directly responding to the directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The President's vision aims to generalize digitalization and enhance administrative governance, thereby elevating the quality of public services and projects.
This newly introduced platform serves as a crucial digital mechanism for modernizing the management system of investment projects. It provides a centralized dashboard for the administration, enabling detailed monitoring of various completion stages, precise indicators of work progress, and levels of financial expenditure. Furthermore, the system is designed to identify and track any difficulties or obstacles encountered in the field, offering a comprehensive overview of project status. Such data is vital for informed decision-making, providing an updated information base that facilitates accurate diagnosis of project situations, identification of imbalances, and targeted interventions based on priorities, ultimately increasing the efficiency of investment program oversight.
During a coordination meeting for the platform's launch, Minister Mouloudji provided instructions emphasizing the optimal utilization of the electronic platform as a unified reference for monitoring investment projects. She underscored the importance of incorporating accurate and up-to-date data on completion stages, financial status, contractual deadlines, and any recorded challenges. The Minister also directed the preparation of periodic evaluation reports to assess project advancements, pinpoint projects requiring urgent intervention to prevent delays, and ensure the rapid resolution of issues, prioritizing those projects facing implementation difficulties to propose and monitor corrective measures until completion and commissioning, thereby contributing to the sector's developmental and social objectives.
