Air Algérie Plans Five New International Routes, One Resumption

Air Algérie is scheduled to significantly expand its international network in October 2026, with plans to launch five new routes and resume one existing service. These additions, primarily from Algiers International Airport, aim to strengthen the national carrier's connectivity across both Asia and Africa.
The expansion into Asia includes the inauguration of a new Algiers–Shanghai route, with reservations already open for its first flight on October 26, 2026. This service is planned for three flights per week, according to schedules published by AeroRoutes.
Air Algérie's development in Africa for October 2026 features several new destinations. New weekly services will connect Algiers to Brazzaville starting October 26, and to Conakry in Guinea from October 25, both with three flights per week. Additionally, flights to Lagos, Nigeria, are set to begin in late October, with some rotations combining Lagos with Abuja. Concurrently, the airline will resume its Algiers–Tripoli flights from October 28, operating two rotations per week.
