Belloumi’s Market Value Soars After Stellar Club, National Team Form

Algerian international Bachir Belloumi has seen his market value significantly increase to €18 million, a near-tripling from its previous €6.5 million valuation in just a few weeks. This notable surge, reported by DZ Foot and published by Transfermarkt, reflects the 24-year-old winger's impressive contributions for both his club, Hull City, and the Algerian national team. His recent form has established him as a player of growing international repute.

Belloumi's impactful start to the season with Hull City in the Premier League highlighted his capabilities. He notably scored two goals in the club’s 2-2 draw against Chelsea and contributed an assist in their 2-1 victory over Newcastle. These strong displays underscored his influence in the attacking third and marked him as a standout performer early in the season.

His international engagements further solidified his rising profile. Selected by Brahim Hemdani, Belloumi made a significant impact for Algeria, scoring his first national team goal against Burundi in a 2-2 draw. He followed this with another goal from a direct free-kick during Algeria's 2-1 friendly victory over Niger. These performances, combined with his club form, have elevated his status beyond that of a promising prospect.

Belloumi, the son of Algerian football icon Lakhdar Belloumi, demonstrates versatility and left-footed quality, making him a strong contender to potentially succeed Riyad Mahrez on the right side of Algeria’s attack. His ability to create openings in the final metres positions him among the leading candidates for this crucial role, signaling an important stage in his development and contributing positively to the national team's future prospects.
