ASL Airlines is set to re-establish direct flights connecting Perpignan, France, with Oran, Algeria, with services scheduled to begin on October 13, 2026. This popular route will operate every Tuesday during two distinct periods: from October 13 to November 3, 2026, and again from December 22, 2026, until January 5, 2027. The reintroduction of these direct flights addresses significant demand for travel between the Pyrénées-Orientales region and Oran, Algeria's second-largest city.

The strong public interest in this air link has prompted advocacy for expanded services. A French-Algerian association based in the Pyrénées-Orientales actively campaigns for the establishment of year-round regular flights between Perpignan and Oran. Furthermore, the association is also calling for the creation of a new direct connection from Perpignan to Algiers, the Algerian capital, underscoring the growing desire for enhanced air connectivity with Algeria.
