The Algerian U20 national football team secured a notable 3-1 victory against Libya in the UNAF tournament, held at the Canal Suez Stadium in Ismaïlia, Egypt. The encounter saw Mohamed Seddik open the scoring for Algeria in the 57th minute. Captain Yanis Sellami extended the lead at the 73rd minute with a header, assisted by Mouhammad Valmy. Yassine Aïche solidified Algeria's advantage with a third goal in the 88th minute, before Libya managed to reduce the deficit in additional time.
