Economic Renewal Council Praises President Tebboune’s Import Committee

The Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA) has voiced its full appreciation for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's initiative to create a permanent committee dedicated to monitoring and processing import requests. This new body includes a permanent membership for CREA, a step designed to strengthen channels of dialogue and consultation between public authorities and economic operators. Such measures are intended to improve the conditions for economic activity and bolster the dynamism of national production.

Kamal Moula, President of CREA, outlined the Council's roadmap, which emphasizes continuously supporting honest economic institutions and advocating for their concerns. The Council is committed to engaging with all public and private enterprises, regardless of their affiliation, size, or nature of activity. This approach is rooted in the belief that the strength of the national economy relies on the integration of all its components, viewing support for any economic institution as an investment in national production, wealth creation, and job opportunities.

Moula further highlighted that the trust placed in the Council by economic institutions represents a collective responsibility to work towards a more robust, competitive, and sustainable national economy. He affirmed that Algeria possesses clear benchmarks and exceptional strengths positioning it for future success, evidenced by strong economic growth and an absence of external debt. Moula previously indicated that real GDP maintains a remarkable dynamic, with official forecasts pointing to a 3.8% growth rate, and a projected strong growth of 4%.
