Abdel Latif Dilimi Pioneers Smart App for Algerian Tourism

Abdel Latif Dilimi, a young entrepreneur from Blida province, has successfully channeled his passion for tourism and belief in Algeria's natural, historical, and cultural assets into creating a smart mobile application. This innovative platform aims to promote local tourism and introduce both well-known and undiscovered tourist destinations across the nation's provinces. The application utilizes modern technology and multiple languages to enhance the tourist experience, providing essential information and services for travelers.

Dilimi's ambition is to establish his application as a comprehensive digital platform, offering visitors a complete guide that includes landmarks, tourist routes, hotels, restaurants, car rental services, and traditional handicraft products. The application employs a visual system using colors to distinguish between different tourist areas, simplifying navigation and searches. Crucially, it supports over 17 languages, aiming to overcome linguistic barriers and enable foreign tourists to fully access available information and services, thereby broadening Algeria's appeal as a global destination.

The inspiration for this innovation stems from Dilimi's lifelong interest in tourism, nurtured since childhood through trips with his grandfather. His project, which began as a childhood passion, recently culminated in recognition from the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, acknowledging his efforts to advance Algerian tourism. This appreciation, along with his acquisition of a tourist guide card, serves as a strong motivator for him to continue developing his digital project and expand its reach, contributing to the promotion of Algeria's rich and diverse tourism heritage.
