Several national industrial complexes specializing in food production have confirmed that their units, distributed across the country, are operating at full capacity and on a regular basis to ensure a steady supply of table oil to the market. This assurance comes as key players in the sector emphasize their commitment to meeting national demand and maintaining market stability for this essential commodity.
AGRODIV, the holding company for food industries, highlighted that all table oil production units belonging to its subsidiary, Mahrousa, are functioning normally and at full capacity. These units, which process and refine edible oils under the 'Safia' brand, operate in rotating shifts without interruption, guaranteeing continuous national market supply 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hamitouch El Amri, Director General of AGRODIV, visited the Mahrousa facility, expressing satisfaction with the operational conditions and commending the efforts of workers and management in ensuring sustained production and product availability. The company also confirmed holding sufficient and secure stocks of both raw materials and finished products to adequately meet national market needs.
Beyond AGRODIV, other major food industry groups have also provided assurances regarding the market. Cevital Group for food industries affirmed its consistent dedication to supplying the national market with edible oils, reporting no recorded fluctuations in production or distribution. Similarly, Label Group reiterated that its production units continue to operate regularly and at full capacity to satisfy national market requirements and provide ample quantities of table oil to consumers nationwide. The SIM Group for food industries further noted that its table oil production, featuring the 'Zeitna' and 'El Bahiah' brands, proceeds normally with regular unit operations and available raw materials. Additionally, distribution efforts are ongoing daily through company sales points and 138 authorized distributors across Algeria, ensuring the product is marketed at regulated and stable prices.
