General Chengriha Inspects Tindouf Military Hospital Progress

General Saïd Chengriha, Delegate Minister to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, conducted an inspection of the military university hospital project in Tindouf. This visit, part of his third day in the Third Military Region, focused on the progress of the 240-bed medical facility. General Chengriha received a detailed presentation on the important health establishment from those overseeing its construction before personally assessing the pace of work.

During his inspection, General Chengriha underscored the critical need for the project's delivery according to the agreed contractual deadlines. He further stressed the importance of ensuring that its construction adheres to international health standards, as adopted for such significant medical projects. The foundation stone for this hospital was laid by General Chengriha in May 2025, reflecting the supreme command of the People's National Army's commitment to bolstering effective health coverage in the region, improving hospital performance, and elevating the standard of healthcare services provided. This strategic effort is designed to ensure optimal care for military personnel and their families.

In addition to the hospital project, General Chengriha also visited the logistical brigade within the Third Military Region. There, he assessed the operational readiness of this unit, which is responsible for ensuring the efficient supply chain for combat units deployed throughout its area of jurisdiction. This inspection forms part of a broader oversight to monitor working conditions, readiness levels, and the overall performance of units under the Third Military Region.
