Health Ministry, Boehringer Ingelheim Pact Aids Stroke Patients

The Algerian Ministry of Health and pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim recently signed a cooperation agreement aimed at bolstering support for stroke and rare disease patients. The signing ceremony, overseen by Minister of Health Professor Mohamed Siddiq Ait Moussaoudan, took place at the Ministry's headquarters. Ms. Lallou Souhaila, Director of Treatment Programs, Ethics, and Medical Professionalism, signed on behalf of the Ministry, while Mr. Lahmaq Samir, Director of Boehringer Ingelheim Algeria, represented the company.

This partnership is structured to enhance collaboration in public health, utilizing an evidence-based and scientifically informed approach. Its primary goals include evaluating existing resources and capabilities, identifying priority needs, and establishing new mechanisms to improve patient care across the country.
