REVADE 2026 Attracts Global and Local Companies

The 10th International Exhibition for Waste Recovery (REVADE 2026) is scheduled to open Thursday at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes in Algiers. Organized by the Ministries of Environment and Quality of Life, and Internal Trade and National Market Regulation, the exhibition will operate under the slogan “A Sustainable Circular Economy: Challenges and Prospects.” The event anticipates strong national and international participation, with at least 150 Algerian companies alongside foreign firms from countries including Germany, Italy, China, Belgium, Rwanda, and the Sultanate of Oman.
The exhibition will serve as a platform for various stakeholders, including public companies and organizations, economic operators, investors, project developers, and startups. The International Labour Organization (ILO) will also be present, fostering exchanges of expertise, experience, and technologies in circular economy principles and waste recovery. Participants will span the entire value chain, from waste collection and transport to selective sorting, technical landfill centers, incineration facilities, and recycling and transformation enterprises.
Specialized companies providing equipment for waste management, technology solutions, consulting firms, training institutions, financial establishments, and insurance companies are also expected to attend. This comprehensive representation aims to facilitate dialogue and cooperation on the challenges related to circular economy implementation and effective waste management strategies.
REVADE 2026 seeks to integrate the circular economy into the diversification of the national economy by developing activities such as waste collection, sorting, treatment, recycling, and valorization, transforming waste into raw materials for industrial re-integration. The exhibition also aims to encourage national and foreign investment in waste management and recovery, support technology and know-how transfer, and foster the development of a specialized national industrial fabric, creating positive employment opportunities. Organizers view this edition as a key opportunity to strengthen the transition towards an integrated system for industrial valorization and re-integration of materials into the economic cycle, aligning with sustainable development goals and national economic diversification objectives.
