Tosyali Algeria Ships 20,000 Tonnes of Steel Coils to US

The Tosyali Algeria steel complex and the Entreprise Portuaire d’Arzew have reached a new logistical milestone with the successful shipment of 20,127 tonnes of steel coils to the North American market. This operation, involving the heavy transport cargo vessel FEDERAL CHURCHILL, which sails under the Marshall Islands flag, highlights the increasing capabilities of national metallurgy in global competitive markets.

Penetrating the United States market represents a significant technical validation for Algerian metallurgical production. To execute this large-scale shipment, the Entreprise Portuaire d’Arzew (EPA) deployed enhanced operational measures. This included continuous mobilization of heavy lifting equipment, specialized docker teams, and maritime security agents to ensure rapid stowage in full compliance with international maritime freight standards.

This performance is central to the roadmap established by public authorities, under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior, Local Collectivities, and Transport. It aligns with Tosyali Algeria's international expansion strategy and demonstrates the Algerian steel sector's growing production and export capacity on a global scale.

Concurrently, the Port of Arzew is finalizing crucial infrastructure enhancements, including the installation of new high-performance mooring fenders at handling station C4 on New Mole No. 05. Historically a strategic hub for liquefied natural gas and hydrocarbons, the port is consolidating its status as a leading multimodal hub, capable of connecting Algerian manufacturing prowess to major transcontinental shipping routes.
