Algiers – The Algerian pavilion at the 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair, held from August 27 to September 5, 2025, is witnessing notable interest from visitors eager to explore the quality of national products, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
During the second day of the fair, Algerian participating companies received “special and growing attention” from visitors “due to the quality of products and services that reflect the rising reputation of Algerian products in Arab markets,” the statement noted.
The ministry emphasized that this significant economic event is “more than just a platform to showcase Algerian products and services.” It serves as “a bridge for brotherhood and communication between businesspeople and investors from both countries, and an opportunity to exchange expertise and enhance economic integration, serving the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.”
The Algerian pavilion includes 14 national companies representing strategic and promising sectors, notably construction materials, public works, renewable energies, beauty and care products, and agricultural and food products.
This Algerian participation, overseen by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, “embodies the shared commitment of the two brotherly nations to strengthen ties of fraternity and enhance bilateral economic cooperation in the interest of both peoples,” the statement added.
