Algeria’s National Team to Face Somalia and Uganda in 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has officially announced the schedule and venues for the upcoming matches of the Algeria national team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

According to Thursday’s statement, Algeria will host Somalia on October 9, 2025, at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran, with kickoff set for 17:00 local time.

The second match, for the tenth round of qualifiers, will see the “Fennecs” face Uganda on October 14, 2025, at the newly inaugurated Houari Boumediene Stadium (Martyr Hussein Aït Ahmed) in Tizi Ouzou, also starting at 17:00.

These fixtures are seen as crucial steps for Algeria in its bid to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
