Algiers Hosts International Exhibition on Facades, Windows, and Doors with 100 Companies Participating

The seventh edition of the International Exhibition of Facades, Windows, and Doors (SIFFP 2025), alongside the second edition of the Kitchens and Bathrooms Expo, officially opened on Saturday at the Exhibition Palace in Algiers. The event brings together about 100 Algerian and foreign companies, highlighting Algeria’s potential to attract investment in construction and interior design industries.

Organizers explained that holding the two exhibitions simultaneously for the first time aims to create synergy between exterior architectural design and the interior spaces of kitchens and bathrooms, emphasizing a comprehensive vision for modern housing solutions. According to the marketing manager of “SF Event,” the goal is not only to promote trade but also to encourage foreign investment in Algeria’s growing construction sector.

International participants come from Africa, Europe, and Asia, reflecting the event’s global reach. Exhibitors are showcasing advanced materials and innovations in eco-friendly solutions designed to enhance energy efficiency in buildings—an area where Algeria is positioning itself as a regional leader.

Algerian firms are also shining at the exhibition. “Onyx,” a local company specialized in transforming solid surface materials, presented new bathroom furniture sets targeting European and neighboring markets. “Brysta Cuisine” focused on custom-made kitchens and cabinets that combine functionality with elegance, reflecting the growing interest of Algerian families in modern, high-quality home solutions. Meanwhile, “Innovate Doors” emphasized its network of national distributors and rising consumer demand, with expansion plans toward Tunisia and Côte d’Ivoire.

The exhibition also includes professional associations, study offices, and training institutions, such as the Association of Former Students of the Polytechnic School of Architectural Engineering in Algiers. Its secretary general, Karim Si Tayeb, underlined the importance of promoting local products to reduce reliance on imports, stressing that Algerian companies have already proven their ability to meet international standards in energy-efficient facades, double-glazed windows, and composite panels.

Beyond business networking, the exhibition attracted a wide public audience, including families seeking modern yet affordable solutions for their homes. A visitor named Sabah, who attended with her children, said she was looking for practical and reasonably priced kitchens and bathrooms to renovate her state housing acquired in 2003.

Running until September 23, the event offers a rich program of technical conferences and professional meetings, confirming Algeria’s commitment to promoting sustainable local industry and attracting global partnerships in the construction and design sector, while consolidating its role as a regional hub for innovation and investment.
