Algiers – The Algerian Insurance and Reinsurance Company (CAAR) held its national sessions on September 26–27, chaired by the company’s Director General, Hassan Oubrahim, to define the key priorities for the implementation of its 2026–2028 Strategic Development Plan, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The sessions served as a significant platform for reflection and exchange of ideas on the company’s future growth directions. According to CAAR, the outcomes of the meetings enabled the identification of concrete priorities to guide its medium-term strategy.
More than 300 participants took part in the event, including senior executives, central and regional directors, high-ranking managers, as well as agency directors and general insurance agents. Discussions focused on exchanging expertise, promoting best practices, and determining ways to improve service quality, modernization, and the adoption of a forward-looking roadmap to steer the company’s operations in a tangible and efficient manner.
The debates also addressed crucial themes such as governance, central organization, network expansion, technical and commercial development, digitization, cybersecurity, research and development, innovation, and the reinforcement of internal controls.
