Interior Ministry Announces Ramadan Grant Registration for 2026

The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Urban Planning has announced the opening of registration for the Ramadan solidarity grant for the year 2026. The grant, valued at 10,000 Algerian Dinars, will be available to eligible families.

Registration commenced on Sunday, November 9th, and will continue for 30 days, concluding on Monday, December 8th, 2025. The Ministry stated that the annual review period for the digital database of individuals meeting the eligibility criteria for the grant has been set.

Citizens wishing to benefit from the grant are encouraged to initiate the registration process through one of two methods. The first option is via the Ministry’s official website: https://prestations.interieur.gov.dz/solidariteramdhan. This online option is exclusively available to individuals possessing biometric national identification cards. Alternatively, applicants can directly approach the municipal services in their place of residence, using the grant application form which can be downloaded from the official website.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of ensuring the accuracy and validity of all data recorded in the application form. The grant is exclusively intended for needy families who meet the conditions outlined in Article 6 of Executive Decree No. 25-86 dated February 22, 2025. This decree stipulates that both spouses must be without income, or their combined net monthly income must not exceed the national guaranteed minimum wage, which is set at 20,000 DZD. Furthermore, the unstable social status of the head of the household must be proven through social and field investigations.

Beneficiaries of the 2025 solidarity grant are also required to renew their applications to benefit from the new grant. The Ministry urges all interested and eligible citizens to apply within the stipulated timeframe to avail themselves of this important social assistance program during the holy month of Ramadan.
