Algiers, Algeria – A new national network for content creators has been established in Algeria, marking a significant step in the development of the country’s digital media landscape. The announcement was made at the conclusion of the second annual Content Creators Camp, held in Algiers this past weekend.
The newly formed Algerian Network for Content Creators brings together over 300 professionals specializing in various aspects of digital content creation. The initiative aims to foster collaboration, promote professional development, and support the growth of the digital economy within Algeria.
Minister of Youth and President of the High Council of Youth, Mustapha Haidaoui, emphasized the importance of the network, noting that its foundations were laid in 2023. He stated that the formal launch of the network reinforces the goals of the Content Creators Camp, aligning with the state’s commitment to supporting talent, promoting high-quality content, and strengthening the digital economy and alternative media.
Haidaoui further explained that the High Council of Youth is working in coordination with all relevant sectors, particularly the Ministry of Communication, to address the concerns of influencers and to advance the content creation industry in Algeria. This includes the development of a professional code of ethics for content creators.
The Minister also highlighted the crucial role of digital media in Algeria, particularly in the face of ongoing challenges. He called for the creation of a national youth front to engage in serious and responsible discussions, strengthening national identity in the face of rapid digital advancements. The goal is to serve the security, stability, and prosperity of Algeria and its youth.
