Algeria Strengthens Continental Presence in Para Sports

Accra, Ghana – Algeria has solidified its position within continental sports governance with the election of Mr. Sid Ahmed El Asri as President of the North Africa Zone in the African Paralympic Committee (APC). The election took place during the APC’s Ordinary General Assembly and elective conference held in Accra, Ghana, from November 7th to 9th.

Mr. El Asri, who also serves as the President of the Algerian Federation for Sports for Persons with Disabilities, secured the leadership role amidst broad participation from representatives of national federations across the continent.
