Tipaza, Algeria – The Algerian Ministry of Health has confirmed that no injuries have been reported as a result of the fires that broke out in several forests in the Tipaza province. In a statement released Friday, the ministry assured the public that all health institutions in the province, as well as the major burns center in Zeralda, have been placed on high alert to handle any potential injuries.

The statement emphasized that the Minister of Health, Mohamed Seddik Ait Mesdouane, is closely monitoring the situation. He reassured citizens that all necessary measures have been taken to provide medical and psychological care to those affected by the fires.

“All health facilities in the Tipaza province, including hospitals and polyclinics, have been placed on standby,” the ministry stated. These facilities have been equipped with all necessary resources and personnel to manage any potential cases. Additionally, the major burns center in Zeralda is in full readiness to support the local healthcare system.

Furthermore, a monitoring cell has been established to care for individuals affected by smoke inhalation. “The cell will provide necessary medical care and psychological support,” the ministry added, addressing concerns about the respiratory impact of the fires. The ministry continues to urge caution and encourages residents in affected areas to follow safety guidelines issued by civil defense authorities.
