Defense Ministry to Showcase Industrial Capabilities at ALGEST 2025

The Ministry of National Defense will participate in the tenth edition of the International Exhibition of Subcontracting, ‘ALGEST 2025,’ scheduled to take place from November 17th to 20th, 2025, at the Palais des Expositions, Pins Maritimes, Algiers. This participation underscores the Ministry’s commitment to supporting economic recovery and promoting national industry.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry’s broader strategy to develop a robust and sustainable military industrial base. The aim is to bolster national production, increase industrial integration, particularly within strategically important sectors, and reduce reliance on external suppliers.

During ALGEST 2025, the People’s National Army (ANP) will be represented by five production units. These units fall under the purview of the Directorate of Military Industry, the Department of Signals and Command and Control Systems, and the Central Directorate of Equipment. The ANP’s presence offers a comprehensive overview of its manufacturing capabilities.

This economic event provides a valuable opportunity for industry stakeholders and interested parties to gain firsthand insight into the ANP’s manufacturing prowess. Focus areas include the development of high-quality, competitive industrial products designed to meet domestic market demands and contribute to the strengthening of the local economic fabric.

ALGEST 2025 also serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and the potential establishment of partnerships between national economic institutions and military production entities. These collaborations will span various areas of industrial subcontracting, ultimately enhancing the independence and efficiency of national production.

This participation reaffirms the Ministry of National Defense’s dedication to continued investment in the military industry and to expanding the horizons of cooperation and technological development in service of the national economy. The Ministry views its role as crucial in driving innovation and supporting the growth of a self-reliant and diversified industrial sector.

The event is expected to draw significant attention from both local and international industry players, further solidifying Algeria’s position as a key player in the regional industrial landscape.
