Chief of Staff Inspects Defense Innovations at ADEX 2025

Seoul, South Korea – General Saïd Chengriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, continued his official visit to the Republic of Korea today, marking the third day of his engagement. A central focus of the day was an in-depth tour of select pavilions at the ADEX 2025 defense exhibition.

The General and his accompanying delegation examined the latest advancements in defense technology, systems, and industrial innovations presented by leading global companies. The visit underscores Algeria’s commitment to staying abreast of cutting-edge developments in the defense sector.

At the LIG Nex1 pavilion, General Chengriha received a comprehensive presentation on the company’s most recent innovations. Discussions centered on the solutions LIG Nex1 offers in air defense systems and advanced technologies. Following the presentation, the General toured the company’s exhibits, gaining first-hand insight into the diverse range of systems and equipment produced by LIG Nex1.

Executives from LIG Nex1 expressed a strong desire to strengthen collaboration with Algeria, emphasizing the mutual benefits of exchanging expertise in areas of shared interest. This cooperation, they stated, would serve the interests of both nations.

The Chief of Staff also visited the KIA special vehicle pavilion, where he received a detailed briefing from company representatives on their latest specialized vehicles. The presentation highlighted the advanced technologies and sophisticated manufacturing capabilities incorporated into these vehicles.

Concluding his tour, General Chengriha and his delegation were welcomed by officials from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). He was briefed on KAI’s current and future projects. The General commended the company’s advancements, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships in research and development, as well as training initiatives.

This visit reinforces Algeria’s dedication to modernizing its defense capabilities through strategic partnerships and the adoption of advanced technologies.
