Algiers, Algeria – Sétram, the company responsible for operating and maintaining the Algiers tramway lines, has announced an extension of service hours for New Year’s Eve. Residents and visitors celebrating the arrival of the new year will benefit from the extended schedule on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
According to a statement released by the company, the first tram from the El Annasser station will depart at 5:30 AM. The last tram departing from El Annasser will leave at 1:00 AM the following morning.
Passengers travelling from the Dergana station can expect the first tram to depart at 5:30 AM. The final tram from Dergana will depart at 11:30 PM.
The extended hours aim to facilitate transportation for those participating in New Year’s Eve festivities throughout the capital. Sétram encourages passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable New Year’s celebration.
