The People’s Voice party has lauded President Tebboune’s recent address to the nation, delivered before both houses of Parliament. The party emphasized that the speech reaffirmed the Algerian state’s commitment to its social character as a sovereign and unwavering choice, rooted in the principles of the November 1st Declaration.
In a statement released today, the People’s Voice party asserted that President Tebboune’s address offered a frank assessment of the nation’s current state and presented a comprehensive vision for addressing various political, economic, and social challenges, particularly in the context of a complex regional and international landscape.
The party reiterated its full commitment to strengthening the social dimension of the Algerian state, viewing it as a cornerstone of national stability and social justice. It acknowledged the significant achievements made in recent years, emphasizing the need to preserve, reinforce, and safeguard these gains.
While expressing its support, the party also pointed out existing shortcomings. “Our belief in the national, ethical, and political responsibility placed upon us compels us, as a responsible political party, to highlight the shortcomings that persist in certain sectors to varying degrees,” the statement read.

The party stressed its belief that the role of the political class is to serve as a keen observer of developmental realities in various fields, conveying concerns honestly and responsibly to decision-makers, and contributing to the correction of public policies in a manner that serves the nation’s best interests.
In this context, the People’s Voice party renewed its call for President Tebboune to initiate a serious and responsible national dialogue with various political actors.
