Sogral Intensifies Bus Services Until Sunday

Algiers, Algeria – Sogral, the company responsible for managing and operating land stations, has announced an increase in the number of bus trips during the weekend to ensure ample transportation for travelers. This initiative aims to address the increased demand for travel as the winter holiday period concludes.

In a statement released today, Sogral urged travelers using its various bus stations to adhere to organizational measures implemented to streamline the travel process. The company is intensifying the frequency of trips on routes experiencing higher passenger volumes, with the increased service expected to continue until this coming Sunday.

To further facilitate booking and reduce congestion at stations, Sogral is encouraging passengers to utilize postal and bank cards, or to purchase tickets online through the ‘MAHATATI’ application. This digital option offers a convenient alternative to traditional ticket purchases.

According to a Sogral representative, this measure is being implemented in direct response to instructions from the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Said Sayoud. The Minister’s directive emphasizes the need to guarantee sufficient transportation options, ensure the smooth flow of passengers, and provide optimal care for citizens traveling as the winter holiday period comes to an end.

Sogral aims to provide reliable and efficient transportation services during this period of increased demand. Passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance and utilize the available online resources to minimize potential delays. The company remains committed to supporting the Algerian public during this busy travel period.
