Algiers – Registration for the highly anticipated teacher recruitment competition concludes today, marking the end of the application period for aspiring educators across the nation. The Ministry of Education has emphasized the importance of adhering to strict guidelines and requirements for all applicants.
With the digital platform for applications closing, the Ministry is urging directors of education to meticulously verify the qualifications and credentials of all candidates. Only specializations explicitly outlined in the official decree will be considered, and strict adherence to the established scoring system is mandatory. This ensures fairness and transparency in the selection process, aligning with the pre-determined criteria for each specialization.
Residency remains a critical requirement for eligibility. Applicants must reside in the same province where the teaching position is open. Failure to meet this residency requirement will result in immediate disqualification from the competition. Furthermore, certificates of employment demonstrating teaching experience on an hourly (vacataire) basis will not be accepted. The Ministry clarifies that only professional experience gained after obtaining the required qualifications will be considered valid.
The Ministry also stressed that work certificates lacking the signature of the authorized appointing authority will be automatically rejected. Additionally, work certificates issued by private sector entities must be accompanied by proof of social security affiliation. Certificates issued by associations are also deemed unacceptable. Absence from the oral interview will lead to the applicant’s definitive elimination from the competition, regardless of their file’s ranking. Attendance is considered non-negotiable.
Finally, the Ministry reiterated that applicants are strictly prohibited from applying for more than one position. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate disqualification. Non-compliance with any of these conditions and observations will lead to immediate elimination from the competition, even if the initial application was accepted. All candidates are strongly advised to carefully review their applications before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.
