Electronic Payment Limit Increased for AADL Housing Installments

The Groupement d’Intérêt Economique Monétique (GIE Monétique), Algeria’s official body responsible for electronic payment systems, has announced an increase in the payment ceiling for all bank and postal cards. This measure is designed to facilitate the payment of installments for the AADL 3 housing program.

According to a statement released yesterday, GIE Monétique, in coordination with its member institutions, has raised the payment limit for card transactions to streamline the process for subscribers to the AADL (Agence d’Amélioration et de Développement du Logement) scheme.

This initiative aims to enable beneficiaries of the AADL lease-purchase program to comfortably pay their installments using either the CIB bank card or the Algérie Poste Gold card. The increased limit will allow for larger payments to be processed electronically, reducing the need for in-person transactions and simplifying the payment process overall.

GIE Monétique emphasized the importance of ensuring that bank card information is only entered on official and trusted platforms. Subscribers are advised to use the following links for making payments:

Platform for payment via Gold Card: https://epay.poste.dz/payment/

Platform for payment via CIB Bank Card: https://cib.satim.dz/payment/

The statement reiterated that this action is part of a broader effort to simplify the lives of housing subscribers and ensure that electronic payment transactions are conducted securely and smoothly. The increased payment limit is expected to significantly improve the user experience for AADL beneficiaries.
