Algiers – The Ministry of National Education has issued a statement clarifying the meanings of “compliant file” and “non-compliant file” statuses within the 2025 teacher recruitment competition. This announcement addresses numerous inquiries from candidates regarding the status of their applications.
The Ministry emphasized that registration and file submission were conducted exclusively through the digital platform of the National Office for Examinations and Competitions, spanning from December 16, 2025, to January 6, 2026. This process aligns with the ongoing digitalization of administrative procedures, designed to streamline the application process for prospective teachers.
To address candidate concerns, the Ministry provided detailed explanations of the terms displayed when tracking file status on the platform:
Compliant File: This status indicates that the application has met all legal requirements and has been approved by the relevant committee at the Directorate of Education. Applicants with a “compliant file” are eligible to proceed to the oral interview stage of the competition.
Non-Compliant File: This status signifies that the application did not meet the required criteria upon review. However, applicants are given the opportunity to rectify any deficiencies by modifying their data or re-uploading documents electronically. The revised application will then be subject to a second review.
Under Review: This status indicates that the application is still being processed due to the high volume of submissions. The Ministry assures all applicants that every file will be carefully reviewed to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.
The Ministry of National Education concluded by reiterating its commitment to transparency and safeguarding the rights of all applicants. Candidates are urged to regularly monitor their personal accounts on the digital platform for any updates regarding the competition.
