Oran Hosts Inaugural Exhibition of Algerian Export Products

Oran, Algeria – The first edition of the Exhibition of Algerian Export Products has officially opened in Oran. The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rezig, alongside the Governor of Oran Province, Ibrahim Ouchen.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, this inaugural edition features the participation of over 200 exporting exhibitors. These exhibitors represent a diverse range of sectors and productive export divisions within Algeria.

The organization of this significant economic event aligns with the state’s strategy to promote national exports and strengthen the presence of Algerian products in regional and international markets. The exhibition serves as a platform to showcase the quality and competitiveness of Algerian goods.

During the opening, Minister Rezig and his accompanying delegation toured the various pavilions of the participating Algerian exporting companies. They examined their production capacities and the extent to which their products comply with international standards. Discussions were also held with company officials regarding the prospects for export development and ways to support operators in accessing new markets.

The Minister received detailed technical briefings on the countries to which the displayed Algerian products are exported, the volume of trade, and the potential for expanding the network of trade partners. He emphasized the need to diversify export destinations and strengthen Algeria’s position in African, Arab, and European markets. This aligns with the state’s strategic orientations in the field of foreign trade and export promotion.

The exhibition is expected to facilitate business-to-business interactions, promote Algerian products to potential international buyers, and contribute to the overall growth of Algeria’s export sector.
