Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, is undertaking a working visit to the Republic of Niger today, Monday. The visit aims to assess the latest developments concerning Sonatrach’s activities in Niger, particularly the progress of the exploration project overseen by the company in the Kafra North oil field.
The Ministry of Hydrocarbons stated that this trip is crucial for monitoring the progress of key energy projects and fostering stronger ties with Niger.
Minister Arkab, accompanied by a delegation, is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with Nigerien officials. These discussions will primarily focus on the advancement of the strategic Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP) project.
