The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Fisheries announced on Thursday the start of a census for farmers and breeders who recorded losses in their holdings due to floods and strong winds experienced in several provinces across the country.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, this measure comes in implementation of the President of the Republic’s instructions to provide support for those affected by the recent weather fluctuations in the country.
In this regard, it was decided to mobilize specialized technical teams at the level of the provincial agricultural services directorates to inspect agricultural holdings and to count and assess the extent of damage caused to breeders and farmers, particularly owners of greenhouses and flooded fields.
