The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Issues confirmed the continuation of registrations for the Productive Families Support Program for the year 2026. The registration process, which began in mid-February, aims to support low-income families.
Mohamed Meddal, Director of Family Protection and Promotion at the Ministry, explained that the ministry launched registrations on February 15 to economically empower families by assisting them in establishing small, income-generating projects that align with their skills and capabilities.
Meddal noted that registration is open to families and women wishing to benefit from the program. This includes heads of households and women who support their parents or siblings, in accordance with Executive Decree No. 25-236, which specifies the conditions and procedures for the Productive Families Program.
According to Meddal, registrations are conducted through a dedicated digital platform or by visiting the Social Action Directorates under the national solidarity sector.
The official pointed out that support for productive families involves providing equipment and tools used to create projects in various fields, such as cooking and sweets, pasta production, sewing and embroidery, and traditional crafts like pottery, ceramics, and jewelry. It also covers activities like beekeeping and natural oil extraction.
The program also includes other support measures, such as organizing training sessions on project creation techniques and providing facilities for productive families to market their products.
To this end, the Social Action Directorates have organized several awareness campaigns to promote the process through information days and field visits to introduce the program’s benefits and eligibility requirements. These directorates also assist families in preparing their files, guide them toward projects suited to their skills, and help applicants submit their requests via the digital platform, Meddal added.
